The Great Invocation
Malvin has been a practising astrologer for the past 10 years. He is an accredited member of the American Federation of Astrologers. Malvin is the author of Bodies of Fire: An Exploration of the Lesser Chakra System. He has authored numerous articles and was a member of the faculty of the University of the Seven Rays, a non-profit organization dedicated to the teaching of the Trans-Himalayan tradition as expressed through the books of Alice Bailey, Helena Blavatsky and others. His primary focus over the past 25 years has been on the sciences as they express occultism and with bridging work between the two. His special interests are the human subtle energy system and all the chakras, or energy centres, physics and technology, astronomy and all aspects of Chinese occultism. He has done extensive work with Chinese astrology and the cycles they use and seeks to synthesize the great Western and Oriental systems on such matters. Malvin lives in Adelaide, South Australia.
Joann S. Bakula PhD
Joann did her undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin, and doctoral work at Saybrook Institute, in Transpersonal and Humanistic Psychology. She has taught at various universities (Goddard Graduate Program, U. of Miami, FIU, FIT, SOU, and others) for 25 years, including courses in Transpersonal Psychology, The Psychology of Mythology, Altered States of Consciousness, Parapsychology, Death Studies, and Existentialism. She is the author of Esoteric Psychology: A Model for the Development of Human Consciousness, and numerous articles for the Beacon, Quest magazine of the Theopsophical Society, the Esoteric Quarterly, and other periodicals on-line and in print, on subjects ranging from the Tibetan Book of the Dead to the ancient Greek mysteries. She was the owner of the Avatar of Aquarius Bookcenter in Miami, manager of Lucis Publishing Company, New York, and has been a mentor (Secretary and Commentator) in the Arcane School. She held public meditation meetings at the full moon for over 30 years, and has written a monthly meditation email letter since the mid-90s, and monthly on-line commentary since 2003 (www.worldservicegroup.com or search 'Meditation Full Moon'). She has been a speaker at the annual Association of Humanistic Psychology conferences, the Arcane School, and various Theosophical Groups. Brad Berg is a human being living in upstate New York, USA, and is connected with the World Service Full Moon meditation meetings held every month at Lifebridge Sanctuary.
He has been involved with several esoterically oriented groups over the years.
Richard has been interested in spirituality since aged 12, and began to read the Alice Bailey teaching during his teenage years. Between 1986 and 1992 he worked for the Lucis Trust. Since then he has worked in the health service in the field of substance misuse. Between 1993 and 2001 Richard co-facilitated workshops with Lynn Frances, using circle dance to explore spiritual themes, many of which were linked with the teachings of Alice Bailey. Their book The Sevenfold Circle: Self Awareness in Dance, is available from Richard.
Since 2001 Richard has been writing on counselling themes, demonstrating the application of the 'person-centred approach' to working with issues that include problem drinking, drug use, sexual abuse, victims of warfare, mental health problems, gambling, obesity and eating disorders.

Richard lives near Leatherhead in Surrey, England, about 20 miles south of London.
Tom is a writer; as such, he is much more interested in meaning and significance of the Ageless Wisdom than its various codifications and intellectual content. He is a disciple walking with you all on the Path. Although not all that conscious of it until he was about 25, he has been at it in this life since the beginning. Since the early 1960's, he has been working with a group in Los Angeles, Arcana Workshops. He also works in and with the group at Meditation Mount and with and in the group known as World Service Intergroup.

Starling David Hunter
Starling currently lives in Boston, Massachusetts and works as a professor of information systems and business strategy. He received his graduate education at Duke University (MBA, 1992; PhD, 1999) and his undergraduate education at Arizona State University (BS, Electrical Engineering, 1985). His interest in the mantram known as the Great Invocation is an outgrowth of his 10 years of study of the writings of Alice Bailey and the Tibetan, as well as the books of Helena & Nicholas Roerich and Torkom Saraydarian.

Trevor has spent much of his life as a sculpture and product designer working in ceramics, glass and metals and as a design lecturer.
He has been on a spiritual journey since about 7 years old. He aligned himself with the Christian mystics during those early years but always had an inner understanding of reincarnation and redemption for all. Twenty years or so ago he came across the ancient wisdom teaching through the work of Alice Bailey. It was like finding an old much-loved coat, which he put on and still wears with increasing care. For some years he was involved with Scotland Goodwill and published their Newsletter, he now prints and publishes Newsletters for the Telford & Wrekin Interfaith Group, the Shropshire & Worcestershire Quakers and his own spiritual newsletter The Knot.
Phillip has been teaching Astrology and the Ageless Wisdom for the past 20 years, mainly in Australia and New Zealand, also working as an astrological counselor. The late Glenys Lowery, founded and was the original webmaster of this website. She was a long time esotericist and student of the Wisdom, particularly as conveyed by Alice Bailey in her books published by the Lucis Trust, and more latterly, as a result of a growing interest in the incoming 7th Ray, by Lucille Cedercrans in the books published by Wisdom Impressions. She presented Cedercrans’ study course Nature of the Soul to an online study group, the first time this course was taught publicly on the internet and established a discussion group on the Wisdom here:Wisdom Group. She also started Pyramids of Power, a group committed to saying the Great Invocation together every day.
Prior to her death in February 2007, Glenys held senior management positions in various government and non government organisations in New Zealand.

Susan MacNeil, PhD
Susan is a practitioner of esoteric and psychodynamic psychology. She brings her expertise from the past 25 years adapting different methods such as: esoteric, analytic, and psychosynthetic psychology. Her background and proficiency as a martial artist, dance therapist, performance artist, and master co-mason similarly enlighten her work.
Her independent study of Esoteric Literature since the mid 70's has facilitated her many publications and presentations: Annual Conference on Spirituality, Psychotherapy and Healing (NYC, Fordham University), New Life Expo, New York City HEAL, Arcane School Conference, and the United Nations. She is a mentor in the Arcane School, and has appeared as one of the "World's leading psychological and spiritual experts…" in the PBS Documentaries: Love, Overcoming the Dark Side, Wake Up and Get Healthy, and Happiness (produced by Gary Null Productions).
She is affiliated with the NGO (non-governmental organization) the Aquarian Age Community headquartered at the United Nations and has presented at the UN on various topics relating to the goal of the AAC which is to facilitate and strengthen the spiritual work of the UN.
The late Jan Nation died at the age of 53 in January 2001. Born in Australia, she had been a student of the Alice Bailey teachings for over 30 years. She moved to New Zealand in 1969, and in 1975 was the inspiration behind, and joint founder of the Triangle Centre in Paekakariki. In 1979 Jan and her husband, Steve, moved to London to work for the Lucis Trust. In 1985 she was appointed Chair of the Commonwealth Headquarters of the Lucis Trust, with responsibilities for the work in the Commonwealth of the Arcane School, Triangles, World Goodwill and the publishing company, the Lucis Press Ltd. She continued in this post until ill health forced her to resign in 1997. In 1999, while under treatment for cancer, she was joint founder of Intuition in Service and the United Nations Days & Years Meditation Initiative.
Steve, a New Zealander, has been a student of the Alice Bailey teachings for over 30 years. He and his late wife, Jan, worked for almost 20 years with the Lucis Trust in London. Together they founded Intuition in Service and the United Nations Days & Years Meditation Initiative. He now lives with his wife, Barbara Valocore, in Hudson Valley, NY, USA where he co-ordinates the Intuition in Service work and is involved with a number of international groups, including the Darjeeling Goodwill Animal Shelter and Darjeeling Goodwill Centre in India. Steve is Co-Convenor of the Spiritual Caucus at the United Nations
During the 1970s he and Jan helped to establish the Triangle Centre, a Unit of Service associated with World Goodwill, in Paekakariki, New Zealand. The commentaries available here are sometimes used at world service meditation meetings of the Rosendale Goodwill Group, meeting at the Lifebridge Sanctuary.

Barbara is a long-time student of the Alice Bailey teachings. She spent most of her life as a performing artist in New York and Los Angeles until the early 1990's when she had the opportunity in 1992 to found The Lifebridge Foundation
with her father, Paul Hancock, an early cable television pioneer. Dedicated to promoting the concept of the interconnectedness of all life and one humanity, Lifebridge
has funded cutting edge and visionary projects. In 2005 she launched the Lifebridge Sanctuary
, a centre in upstate New York, USA, where small groups meet for deep dialogue and reflection. Barbara is Co-Convenor of the Spiritual Caucus at the United Nations
